Bob's Discount Furniture seeks a Director of Merchandise Finance to steer inventory investment and OTB governance, aligning with the corporate forecast and ROI targets. This role influences MPC decisions, negotiates with Merchandising, Planning, Pricing, and Supply Chain teams, and leads the merchandise finance function.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or related field.
• 8+ years FP&A, merchandise finance, or merchandise planning in retail.
• 3+ years of people-management experience.
• Experience owning inventory investment governance, open-to-buy, or similar process.
• Proven ability to present to and influence senior management.
• MBA or CPA preferred; 10+ years combined public/private experience preferred.

Responsabilités

• Owns inventory investment governance and OTB reconciliation with P&L.
• Build inventory investment envelope, thresholds, and guardrails.
• Provide executive insights on inventory productivity and risk.
• Partner with Merchandising, Planning, Pricing, Supply Chain, IT, and senior leadership.
• Develop and lead the merchandise finance team.
