Job summary

Bob's Discount Furniture is seeking a Director of Merchandise Finance to lead inventory investment governance and financial planning across the enterprise. You will set guardrails for open-to-buy and drive ROI-focused decisions while partnering with Merchandising, Planning, Pricing, and Supply Chain to align with corporate forecasts.

The role is primarily remote with occasional travel up to 20% and requires 8+ years in FP&A/merchandise finance in retail, plus strong leadership and communication

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Economics, or a related field required.
• 8+ years of progressive FP&A/merchandise finance experience in retail.
• 3+ years of people-management experience and talent development.
• Demonstrated ownership of inventory investment governance and OTB processes.
• Ability to present to and influence senior management.

Responsibilities

• Oversee inventory investment governance and open-to-buy processes.
• Provide executive-level insight into inventory productivity and risk.
• Lead cross-functional partnerships with Merchandising, Planning, Pricing, and Supply Chain.
