Responsibilities include:

1. Assisting with merchandising and freight processing tasks delegated by the Store Manager.
2. Helping with hiring, training, and developing store associates as delegated by the Store Manager.
3. Supporting all store functions and daily activities as directed.
4. Performing opening and closing procedures in the absence of the Store Manager.
5. Protecting and securing company assets, including cash.
6. Adhering to all policies, procedures, and safety guidelines.
7. Maintaining a professional environment with customers, staff, and supervisors.
8. Keeping the store, stockroom, and sales floor to company standards, including recovery.
9. Assuming direct supervisory responsibility for hourly associates when the Store Manager is absent.
10. Processing corporate directives and store communications.
11. Managing receipt and return of merchandise, following VIP and DSD policies.
12. Assisting with freight flow management.
13. Meeting or exceeding productivity standards.
14. Assisting with ordering, stocking, and maintaining merchandise, including frozen and refrigerated items.
15. Ensuring the sales floor is sales-effective daily.
16. Planning and maintaining merchandising displays and sales plans.

Minimum Requirements/Qualifications:

1. Prior retail and management experience preferred.
2. Strong communication, interpersonal, and written skills.
3. Ability to lift, bend, and transport up to 50 lbs.
4. Ability to work in a high-energy, team environment.
