Job Responsibilities:

• Assist with merchandising and freight processing tasks delegated by the Store Manager.
• Help with hiring, training, and developing store associates as delegated by the Store Manager.
• Support all store functions and daily activities as directed by the Store Manager.
• Perform opening and closing procedures in the absence of the Store Manager.
• Help protect company assets, including store cash, and adhere to safety policies.
• Maintain a professional environment with customers and staff.
• Keep all store areas, including stockroom and sales floor, organized and clean.
• When the Store Manager is absent, take supervisory responsibility for hourly associates.
• Process corporate directives such as Pull and Hold/Destroy, Task Compliance, and Key Survey information.
• Assist with receipt, return of merchandise, and freight flow management.
• Meet or exceed productivity standards.
• Assist with ordering and stocking merchandise, including frozen and refrigerated items.
• Maintain stockroom organization and ensure the sales floor is sales-effective daily.
• Plan and maintain merchandising displays and sales plans.

Minimum Requirements/Qualifications:

• Prior retail and management experience preferred.
• Strong communication, interpersonal, and written skills.
• Ability to lift and transport merchandise weighing up to 50 lbs.
• Ability to work in a high-energy, team environment.
