Responsibilities include:

• Assisting with merchandising and freight processing tasks delegated by the Store Manager
• Supporting hiring, training, and development of store associates
• Performing store functions and daily activities as directed
• Handling opening and closing procedures in the absence of the Store Manager
• Protecting company assets and adhering to policies and safety guidelines
• Maintaining a professional environment with customers, staff, and supervisors
• Ensuring the store and stockroom meet company standards
• Providing supervisory responsibility for hourly associates when the Store Manager is absent
• Processing corporate directives and store communications
• Managing receipt and return of merchandise, including freight flow
• Meeting productivity standards and assisting with merchandise ordering and stocking
• Maintaining store organization and merchandising effectiveness
• Participating in planning and implementing sales strategies and merchandising plans

Minimum Requirements:

• Preferably prior retail and management experience
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills
• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and work in a high-energy environment
