Responsibilities include:

• Assisting with merchandising and freight processing tasks delegated by the Store Manager
• Supporting hiring, training, and development of store associates as delegated
• Performing all store functions and day-to-day activities as directed
• Executing opening and closing procedures in the absence of the Store Manager
• Protecting and securing company assets, including store cash
• Adhering to all policies, procedures, and safety guidelines
• Maintaining a professional environment with customers, subordinates, and supervisors
• Maintaining store areas to company standards, including recovery
• Taking supervisory responsibility for hourly associates when the Store Manager is absent
• Processing corporate directives and store communications
• Managing receipt and return of DSD merchandise following VIP and DSD policies
• Assisting in freight flow management
• Meeting or exceeding productivity standards
• Ordering and stocking merchandise, including frozen and refrigerated items
• Maintaining stockroom organization
• Ensuring the sales floor is sales-effective daily
• Planning and merchandising with sales-effective items and monthly Sales Planners

Minimum requirements:

• Prior retail and management experience preferred
• Strong communication, interpersonal, and written skills
• Ability to lift and transport up to 50 lbs
• Ability to work in a high-energy, team environment
