Responsibilities include:

• Assisting with merchandising and freight processing tasks delegated by the Store Manager
• Helping with hiring, training, and developing store associates
• Supporting all store functions and daily activities as directed
• Performing opening and closing procedures in the absence of the Store Manager
• Protecting and securing store assets, including cash
• Maintaining a professional environment with customers, staff, and management
• Keeping store areas, stockroom, and sales floor to company standards
• Providing supervisory responsibility for hourly associates when the Store Manager is absent
• Processing corporate directives and store communications
• Managing freight flow and merchandise receipt/return processes
• Ordering, stocking, and maintaining merchandise and stockroom organization
• Ensuring sales floor effectiveness and merchandising execution
• Planning and maintaining sales displays and monthly sales planners

Minimum qualifications include:

• Preferred prior retail and management experience
• Strong communication, interpersonal, and written skills
• Ability to lift and transport up to 50 lbs
• Ability to work in a high-energy, team environment
