Responsibilities include:

• Assisting with merchandising and freight processing tasks delegated by the Store Manager.
• Participating in hiring, training, and developing store associates as delegated.
• Supporting all store functions and daily activities as directed by the Store Manager.
• Performing opening and closing procedures in the absence of the Store Manager.
• Protecting and securing company assets, including store cash.
• Adhering to policies, procedures, and safety guidelines.
• Maintaining a professional, friendly environment with customers and staff.
• Maintaining store areas, including stockroom and sales floor, to company standards.
• Providing supervisory responsibility for hourly associates when the Store Manager is absent.
• Processing corporate directives and communications related to store activities.
• Assisting with receipt, return of merchandise, and freight flow management.
• Meeting or exceeding productivity standards.
• Supporting ordering, stocking, and organization of merchandise, including refrigerated items.
• Ensuring the sales floor is effective daily, including planning and merchandising efforts.

Minimum Requirements/Qualifications:

• Prefer prior retail and management experience.
• Strong communication, interpersonal, and written skills.
• Ability to lift, bend, and transport up to 50 lbs.
• Ability to work in a high-energy, team environment.
