Responsibilities

• Assist with all store functions and daily activities as directed by the Store Manager.
• Perform opening and closing procedures in the absence of the Store Manager.
• Help protect and secure all company assets, including store cash.
• Adhere to all policies, procedures, and safety guidelines.
• Maintain a professional and friendly environment with customers, staff, and supervisors.
• Keep all store areas, including stockroom and sales floor, to company standards, including recovery.
• When the Store Manager is not present, oversee all hourly associates.
• Process all corporate directives and related communications.
• Assist with receipt and return of DSD merchandise following VIP and DSD policies.
• Manage freight flow and maintain stockroom organization.
• Meet or exceed productivity standards.
• Assist in ordering, stocking, and merchandising merchandise, including frozen and refrigerated items.
• Ensure the sales floor is sales-effective daily and plan monthly sales strategies.

Minimum Requirements/Qualifications

• Prior retail and management experience preferred.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to lift and transport up to 50 lbs.
• Ability to work in a high-energy, team environment.
