Responsibilities include:

• Assisting with merchandising and freight processing tasks delegated by the Store Manager
• Helping with hiring, training, and development of store associates as delegated
• Supporting all store functions and daily activities as directed by the Store Manager
• Performing opening and closing procedures in the absence of the Store Manager
• Protecting and securing company assets, including cash
• Adhering to all policies, procedures, and safety guidelines
• Maintaining a professional and friendly environment for customers, staff, and supervisors
• Keeping all store areas, including stockroom and sales floor, to company standards
• Providing supervisory responsibility for hourly associates when the Store Manager is not present
• Processing all corporate directives and store communications
• Assisting with merchandise receipt, return, and freight flow management
• Meeting or exceeding productivity standards
• Assisting with ordering, stocking, and maintaining organization of merchandise
• Ensuring the sales floor is sales-effective daily and planning merchandising strategies

Minimum Requirements/Qualifications:

• Prefer prior retail and management experience
• Strong communication, interpersonal, and written skills
• Ability to lift, bend, and transport up to 50 lbs of merchandise
• Ability to work in a high-energy, team environment
