Responsibilities include:

• Assisting with merchandising and freight processing tasks delegated by the Store Manager
• Helping with hiring, training, and developing store associates
• Supporting all store functions and daily activities
• Performing opening and closing procedures in the absence of the Store Manager
• Protecting company assets, including store cash
• Maintaining a professional environment with customers and staff
• Ensuring store areas meet company standards, including stockroom and sales floor
• Providing supervisory oversight of hourly associates when the Store Manager is absent
• Processing corporate directives and store communications
• Managing receipt and return of merchandise
• Assisting with freight flow management and stock organization
• Supporting sales floor effectiveness and merchandising efforts
• Participating in planning and implementing sales strategies

Minimum qualifications:

• Prior retail and management experience preferred
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills
• Ability to lift and transport up to 50 lbs
• Ability to work in a high-energy team environment
