Principal Duties and Responsibilities:

• Assist with merchandising and freight processing tasks delegated by the Store Manager
• Assist with hiring, training, and developing store associates as delegated
• Support all store functions and daily activities as directed
• Perform opening and closing procedures in the absence of the Store Manager
• Help protect and secure company assets, including cash
• Follow all policies, procedures, and safety guidelines
• Maintain a professional environment with customers, staff, and supervisors
• Keep store areas, stockroom, and sales floor organized and clean
• When the Store Manager is absent, oversee hourly associates
• Process directives such as Pull and Hold/Destroy, Task Compliance, Key Survey
• Assist with receipt and return of DSD merchandise, following VIP and DSD policies
• Help manage freight flow and stock levels
• Meet or exceed productivity standards
• Assist in ordering and stocking merchandise, including frozen and refrigerated items
• Maintain stockroom organization and ensure sales floor effectiveness
• Plan and implement merchandising strategies like Clip Strips and Power Panels
• Contribute to monthly Sales Planners

Minimum Requirements/Qualifications

• Prefer prior retail and management experience
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills
• Ability to lift and transport up to 50 lbs
• Ability to work in a high-energy, team environment
