Principal Duties and Responsibilities:

• Assist with all store functions and day-to-day store activities as directed by the Store Manager
• Perform opening and closing procedures in the absence of the Store Manager
• Help protect and secure all company assets, including store cash
• Follow all policies and safety guidelines
• Maintain a professional and friendly environment with customers, staff, and supervisors
• Keep all areas of the store, including the stockroom and sales floor, to company standards, including recovery
• When the Store Manager is not present, oversee hourly Associates
• Process all SSC Corporate directives, including Pull and Hold/Destroy, Task Compliance, and Key Survey information
• Handle requests and communications related to store activities as delegated by the Store Manager
• Assist with receipt and return of DSD merchandise, following VIP and DSD Policies and Procedures
• Manage freight flow in collaboration with the Store Manager
• Meet or exceed productivity standards
• Assist in ordering and stocking merchandise, including frozen and refrigerated items
• Maintain stockroom organization
• Ensure the sales floor is sales-effective daily
• Plan and maintain Clip Strips and Power Panels with sales-effective items
• Assist in planning and implementing monthly Sales Planners

Minimum Requirements/Qualifications:

• Prefer prior retail and management experience
• Strong communication, interpersonal, and written skills
• Ability to lift, bend, and transport merchandise weighing up to 50 lbs
• Ability to work in a high-energy, team environment
