Responsibilities include:

1. Assisting with merchandising and freight processing tasks delegated by the Store Manager.
2. Supporting hiring, training, and development of store associates.
3. Performing all store functions and daily activities as directed.
4. Handling opening and closing procedures in the absence of the Store Manager.
5. Protecting and securing company assets, including cash.
6. Adhering to safety policies and maintaining a professional environment.
7. Maintaining store areas, including stockroom and sales floor, to company standards.
8. Providing supervisory oversight for hourly associates when the Store Manager is absent.
9. Processing store directives and communications.
10. Assisting with receipt, return of merchandise, and freight management.
11. Meeting productivity standards and assisting with merchandise ordering and stocking.
12. Ensuring sales floor effectiveness and planning merchandising displays.

Minimum Requirements/Qualifications:

1. Prior retail and management experience preferred.
2. Strong communication, interpersonal, and written skills.
3. Ability to lift and transport merchandise weighing up to 50 lbs.
4. Ability to work in a high-energy, team environment.
