Job summary

Qualifications

• Must be able to obtain and maintain current BLS training and certification.
• A one-year supervisory probationary period may be required.
• Successful completion of Military Health System (MHS) GENESIS Training is required.

Responsibilities

• Conducts comprehensive medical evaluations for MEPS applicants.
• Reviews medical records and conducts detailed histories and physical exams.
• Evaluates diagnostic test results and informs applicants of abnormal findings.

Skills

Basic Life Support (BLS) certification

Advanced Life Support certification

Medical exam and diagnostic test interpretation

Strong communication skills

Education

Doctor of Medicine or Doctor of Osteopathic Medicine
