Qualifications

• Master's or Doctoral NP degree from ANCC/ANPCP accredited programs.
• Board certification in FNP, ANP, AGNP, or ACNP.
• Current, unrestricted NP license in any US state/territory.
• Minimum of one year post-graduate direct patient care experience.
• CAC/PIV eligibility or clearance requirements.

Responsibilities

• Conduct medical histories and physical examinations for military applicants.
• Review medical documentation, test results, and histories to determine qualifications.
• Lead mental health and general health assessments with specialists when needed.
• Apply military medical accession standards to evaluate applicants.
• Maintain confidentiality and HIPAA compliance.
• Document in MHS Genesis EHR system.
• Participate in peer reviews and quality improvement initiatives.
• Ensure all medical documentation is accurate and compliant.
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams for patient care.
• Assist with risk management and workflow efficiency.
