Job summary

Candidates must be board-certified (FNP/ANP/Adult-Gerontology/Acute Care NP), hold an unrestricted NP license, and pass pre-employment qualifications. CAC/PIV preferred for access to government facilities.

Qualifications

• Master’s or Doctoral Degree in Nurse Practitioner program.
• Board certification in one of the NP specialties listed.
• Current, unrestricted NP license in any US state or territory.
• Minimum of one year post-graduate direct patient care experience.

Responsibilities

• Perform medical histories and comprehensive exams for military applicants.
• Review medical records and tests to determine qualifications for service.
• Lead mental health and general health assessments with specialists as needed.
• Maintain HIPAA-compliant documentation in the MHS Genesis system.
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to ensure quality care.
