Job summary

Westat is seeking motivated Field Interviewers for the MEPS study. You will conduct in-person and computer-assisted video interviews with adults in households, traveling to training in January 2027 and to local households as needed.

This part-time, yearly data collection role includes shifts mainly in evenings/weekends, with potential overnight travel. A driving record and vehicle with required insurance are expected.

Qualifications

• Must be 18 or older and able to sign confidentiality agreements.
• Willing to complete mandatory online and in-person trainings in January 2027.
• Able to travel locally and occasionally long-distance with potential overnight stays.
• Reliable personal vehicle meeting Westat insurance requirements.

Responsibilities

• Contact households in-person or by phone to introduce MEPS and gain cooperation.
• Schedule appointments, conduct interviews, and collect data and documents as required.
• Transmit data daily and complete administrative paperwork under supervision.
