Job summary

Clark Construction seeks an experienced Systems (MEPF) Preconstruction Manager with a focus on electrical and low voltage systems. You will lead MEPF preconstruction activities, analyze designs for cost and schedule, and drive value analysis with internal teams and trade partners.

You will develop estimates, review documents for compliance, and guide design decisions to optimize constructability. This role requires strong leadership, communication, and scheduling skills in a fast-paced

Qualifications

• Undergraduate degree in engineering, construction management or related field.
• 7+ years of experience in electrical commercial construction/design on large-scale projects.
• Field experience is desirable.
• Proficiency in Excel and Bluebeam; familiarity with Beck Destini Estimator and On Screen Take-off is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Lead MEPF preconstruction activities with internal teams, trade partners, designers, and project stakeholders.
• Analyze drawings, specs, proposals to prepare time, cost, and labor estimates.
• Drive value analysis to make designs more cost-effective and constructable.
• Review Construction Documents for compliance with program and design intent.
• Lead meetings and design conferences related to MEPF systems.
• Develop design deliverables and workflow to support subcontracting and permitting.
• Collaborate to develop overall project cost and schedule with PMs and field leadership.
• Develop trade partner RFPs/RFQs for best-value selections.
• Supervise/train other estimators/preconstruction managers.
• Solicit and evaluate quotes for scope, risks, and opportunities.
