Job summary

Opitz Bürotechnik seeks a seasoned MEPF Superintendent to support the General/Senior Superintendent in overseeing mechanical, electrical, plumbing and fire protection on a construction project. You will coordinate multiple crews, plan procedures, verify quality and safety, and manage inspections and commissioning activities.

Responsibilities include coordinating daily field objectives, monitoring progress, reviewing drawings, and maintaining reports.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in a related field and 5–7 years of construction experience.
• Strong knowledge of mechanical, electrical and plumbing techniques.
• Experience with large commercial/industrial projects and building codes.
• Proficient in Procore and MS Office; able to read construction drawings.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate and manage daily field objectives, timelines and goals.
• Monitor project progress and ensure quality, safety and efficiency on site.
• Review documents to determine contractual requirements and manage submittals.
• Assist with planning, scheduling and coordination among trades and owners.
• Support commissioning, testing, and final system handover.
