Job summary

Forge Strategies in Southwest Florida is seeking an experienced MEP Project Superintendent to lead day-to-day field operations on commercial construction projects. This hands-on role requires strong HVAC and/or plumbing knowledge and the ability to coordinate HVAC, plumbing, mechanical, piping, and other MEP trades.

You will manage field crews, review drawings and specs, monitor safety and quality, and ensure projects stay on schedule.

Qualifications

• Superintendent or field leadership experience in commercial construction.
• Strong HVAC, plumbing, mechanical, or piping experience.
• Ability to read and understand construction drawings and specifications.
• Experience managing field crews and coordinating multiple trades.
• Strong leadership and communication skills.
• Ability to manage schedules, quality, and safety in a fast-paced construction environment.
• Commercial MEP contractor experience is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Lead day-to-day field operations on commercial construction projects.
• Coordinate HVAC, plumbing, piping, mechanical, and other MEP scopes.
• Manage field personnel, subcontractors, scheduling, and project execution.
• Review drawings, specifications, and project requirements.
• Coordinate closely with Project Managers, Foremen, and other project stakeholders.
• Monitor quality, safety, productivity, and schedule.
• Identify and resolve field issues before they impact the project.
• Participate in project planning, coordination, inspections, and turnover.
• Maintain strong communication between field and project management teams.
