Job summary

Jones Lang LaSalle Incorporated in Alburtis, PA is seeking a Facilities Mechanic to oversee daily operation, maintenance, and reliability of site systems, including MEP. You will perform preventative maintenance, inspect drainage, and coordinate vendor support to minimize downtime.

The ideal candidate has a high school diploma or GED, 1 year in facility maintenance, strong troubleshooting skills, and the ability to respond to emergencies with on-site presence.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED or equivalent work experience.
• Minimum 1 year of facilities technician experience.
• Experience with preventative and corrective maintenance on facility systems, including MEP infrastructure.
• Strong diagnostic and corrective-action skills.
• Ability to respond to emergency service calls and on-site presence.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Oversee daily operation and maintenance of MEP systems.
• Inspect and repair drainage and restroom fixtures.
• Monitor compressed air systems and schedule preventive maintenance.
• Coordinate dock equipment and vendor support as needed.
• Review equipment logs and CMMS work orders to ensure systems operate properly.
• Prioritize and manage preventative, corrective, and emergency work orders across schedules.
• Coordinate downtime with the client to minimize impact on operations.
