Job summary

Jobot is seeking a Superintendent - MEP in Houston to lead the mechanical, electrical, and plumbing teams on large-scale infrastructure projects. You will ensure work aligns with plans, budgets, and safety standards, coordinating with engineers, architects, and subcontractors.

The ideal candidate has 5+ years of MEP supervision, a relevant engineering degree, and a proven track record of delivering complex builds on time.

Qualifications

• Minimum 5 years in a similar MEP-focused role in construction.
• Degree in Mechanical, Electrical, or Civil Engineering or related field.
• Proven experience managing large-scale MEP systems on heavy projects.
• Strong knowledge of safety (OSH) guidelines and procedures.
• Excellent leadership and multi-project management capabilities.
• Strong written and verbal communication with stakeholders.
• Proficiency with project management software.

Responsibilities

• Oversee all MEP aspects from design to on-site execution.
• Coordinate MEP subcontractors per plans and specs.
• Review and implement MEP designs on site.
• Collaborate with PMs, engineers, architects and others.
• Monitor progress and adjust to ensure on-time delivery.
• Ensure compliance with safety and quality standards.
• Provide technical guidance and resolve MEP issues.
• Conduct regular inspections and maintenance.
• Procure materials and equipment for MEP systems.
• Prepare progress reports for senior management.
