Job summary

Jobot is seeking a Superintendent to lead field operations on complex commercial and institutional construction projects, including hospitals, data centers, schools, and federal facilities. You will coordinate MEP trades, review drawings, and drive safety, scheduling, and quality from mobilization through commissioning.

The ideal candidate has 8+ years in commercial/institutional construction, deep MEP knowledge, and proven leadership.

Qualifications

Eight or more years of relevant commercial or institutional construction experience.
Leadership experience at superintendent, assistant superintendent, or foreman level.
Strong expertise in at least one MEP discipline and related building systems.
Experience coordinating multiple trades, managing schedules, safety, inspections, and quality.
Ability to interpret construction drawings, specs, submittals, schedules, and equipment docs.

Responsibilities

Lead daily field operations: safety, scheduling, logistics, quality, and subcontractor coordination.
Develop and maintain look-ahead schedules with manpower, materials, and equipment readiness.
Coordinate MEP installation across trades and systems.
Review drawings and BIM for conflicts and constructability.
Plan shutdowns, outages, and commissioning activities.
Oversee work in occupied or secure facilities with minimal disruption.
Lead coordination meetings and enforce schedule commitments and quality.
Maintain field documentation and turnover records.
