Job summary

Actalent is seeking an experienced MEP Superintendent to lead the technical delivery, coordination, and commissioning of MEPF systems on complex commercial projects. You will manage cross-functional teams, interface with trade partners, and drive Operational Project Readiness and commissioning management across multiple sites.

The role requires a minimum of 10 years in commercial construction with MEPF or building controls experience, strong data center knowledge, and proficiency in CPM

Qualifications

• Minimum 10 years in commercial construction with an MEPF or building controls contractor, general contractor, or commissioning (Cx) agency.
• Strong mechanical, electrical, and construction experience, especially in data centers or critical facilities.
• Proven scheduling experience with P6 and/or MS Project for CPM planning.
• Familiarity with QA/QC practices and facilities operations knowledge.
• Ability to function in a high-performance, mobile work environment and manage multiple projects.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office (Excel, Project, Word, SharePoint) and Adobe Cloud.
• Strong project-management skills and attention to detail.
• Ability to read/interpret financial data related to facilities.

Responsibilities

• Lead technical delivery, coordination, and commissioning of MEPF systems on complex commercial projects.
• Coordinate and manage MEPF trade partners through design, inspections, and commissioning testing.
• Apply MEPF testing procedures to verify system performance.
• Lead team to deliver Operational Project Readiness and Commissioning Management across multiple projects.
• Review contract documents to ensure operability and functionality requirements are met.
• Develop commissioning and project execution plans and CPM-based schedules.
• Establish testing/certification requirements and manage documentation in commissioning software.
• Read blueprints and verify field measurements for accurate installation and commissioning.
• Communicate project status and commissioning activities with stakeholders.
• Document commissioning activities and drive issue resolution for system start-up.
