Job summary

The Christman Company in Oklahoma City seeks an experienced MEP Superintendent to lead day-to-day construction operations on complex commercial projects, coordinate subcontractors, sequence work, manage the project schedule, and uphold safety and quality standards.

The ideal candidate has five years of commercial construction leadership, strong MEP coordination skills, BIM coordination experience, and a proven ability to resolve constructability issues and drive installation and commissioning.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Construction Management or related field, or equivalent experience.
• Minimum of five years in commercial construction in a leadership role as Foreman/Superintendent.
• Experience coordinating MEP systems on commercial projects (trade sequencing, interfaces).
• Completed training in Construction/Project Management, Safety, or Leadership.

Responsibilities

• Lead coordination of MEP trades, ensuring sequencing, constructability, conflicts resolution, and successful installation, testing, and commissioning.
• Partner with project teams, designers, and subs to resolve MEP coordination issues using BIM and other tools.
• Develop and communicate site safety program addressing hazards introduced by conditions and methods.
• Arrange permitting and inspections to start/complete work on schedule.
• Review construction documents for constructability, logistics, and MEP integration.
