Job summary

HITT Contracting is seeking an experienced MEP Superintendent to coordinate startup and commissioning of mechanical, electrical, and controls systems on complex projects. The role requires aligning with contract documents and project schedule, and collaborating with subcontractors and design teams.

The ideal candidate has a four-year degree in construction/engineering or business or equivalent work experience, 4 years in MEP construction, and 3 years in mission critical/hospital/MEP startup.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in construction, engineering, or business preferred; alternative experience considered.
• 4 years experience in Mechanical or Electrical System Construction.
• 3 years combined experience in Mission Critical, Hospital, MEP Project Management, or Start-up/Commissioning.
• Strong communication skills, verbal and written.
• Willing to travel.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate startup and commissioning of MEP systems per contract and schedule.
• Assist bidding mechanical and electrical trades.
• Manage equipment procurement and deliveries.
• Develop MEP critical path schedule and track activities.
• Lead project meetings and resolve MEP issues.
• Ensure quality control for MEP systems and documentation.
• Build strong client relations.
