Job summary

Limbach Facility Services, LLC in Burlington, MA, seeks a Special Projects Engineer to support revenue and gross profit goals on assigned MEP accounts, ensuring work is on time and within budget, tracked in the Limbach Operating System.

You will build strong customer relationships, present repair or upgrade proposals, and coordinate with field staff to meet schedules while driving service excellence. This is an entry-level role with growth potential.

Qualifications

• 0-1 years of experience.
• Demonstrated ability to collaborate and communicate.
• Strong computer skills, including Excel or equivalent Google Apps.
• Interpersonal skills to develop business relationships.
• Time management and organizational skills.
• Must have a valid driver's license.
• Must have driving record compliant with company policies.
• Ability to travel locally up to 50%.

Responsibilities

• Supports branches' sales and gross profit goals.
• Assists in managing accounts by dedicating 100% of time to mission-critical MEP accounts.
• Performs routine customer visits daily and/or weekly.
• Develops customer relationships as the go-to source for maintenance and improvements.
• Analyzes mechanical systems and presents repair/upgrade proposals to close sales.
• Assists in pricing and proposals based on customer spending habits.
• Coordinates with field staff to plan daily and weekly manpower.
• Collaborates across the branch to ensure a seamless customer experience.
• Reviews work on site, writes bid scopes, and submits for approval.
• Assists in project booking and cost management.
• Ensures timely invoicing and follow-up on receivables.
• Supports strategic account planning to increase recurring revenue.
