Job summary

Davenport Management & Consulting is seeking a skilled MEP Site Superintendent for a ~18-month contract in New Jersey. You will oversee mechanical, electrical, plumbing, fire protection, and BAS projects, ensuring on-schedule, on-budget delivery with rigorous safety and ethical standards.

Lead coordination with customers, subcontractors, and internal teams; drive profitability and cash flow while maintaining high quality and customer satisfaction. Travel as required.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent work-related experience in construction.
• Minimum five years as a MEP Site Superintendent required.
• Knowledge of mechanical, electrical, plumbing, fire protection and BAS controls.
• Strong leadership and crisis resolution capabilities.
• Ability to communicate technical material to non-technical audiences.

Responsibilities

• Oversee profitable execution of assigned projects.
• Develop and implement a Project Execution Plan for each project.
• Maintain profitability goals and positive cash flow.
• Schedule milestones and ensure progress toward deadlines.
• Ensure compliance with safety, ethics, and regulatory standards.
• Coordinate with customers, subcontractors, and internal teams.
• Manage changes and cost reviews; control scope and resources.
• Ensure on-time delivery within contract scope and budget.
