Job summary

STO Building Group is seeking an experienced MEP Superintendent to manage daily job-site operations, including scheduling, procurement of materials, and manpower coordination for complex projects.

The role requires strong knowledge of construction processes, blueprints, and CMiC, with the ability to travel to multi-site locations and lead subcontractor teams to meet schedules and quality standards.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in engineering or construction; equivalent experience considered.
• Minimum 5 years commercial construction experience, preferably in mission-critical environments.
• Valid driver’s license and ability to travel to project sites.
• Reads and interprets blueprints, codes, and design requirements accurately.
• Basic Spanish preferred.

Responsibilities

• Study specifications and plan procedures with staffing and equipment needs.
• Work with Project Manager to determine project schedules and look-ahead plans.
• Coordinate pre-construction meetings before mobilization.
• Direct procurement of tools and materials to meet schedules.
• Keep all parties informed on construction issues and progress; meet with supervision, subs, and clients regularly.
• Resolve issues with supervision and subcontractors to improve methods and move projects forward.
