Job summary

Davenport Management & Consulting, LLC is seeking a MEP Construction Project Manager for a temporary full-time contract (40 hours/week) lasting 12–24 months. You will lead HVAC startup, commissioning, warranty administration, and field service activities to ensure projects finish on time, within budget, and to quality standards.

You will coordinate with customers, field teams, subcontractors, and internal departments, manage project financials, and drive successful closeout while maintaining

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent work experience in a related field.
• Minimum five (5) years of PM, field service coordination, warranty administration, HVAC service operations, or related experience.
• Proven experience in HVAC startup, commissioning, installation, maintenance, or replacement projects.
• Strong understanding of construction management principles and project delivery processes.
• Experience managing multiple projects simultaneously.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Ability to communicate technical information to diverse audiences.
• Experience with SAP, NxGen, or similar ERP systems.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and related tools.
• OSHA 30 Certification.
• Ability to travel as required.

Responsibilities

• Understand project scope, contract requirements, and customer expectations.
• Develop, maintain, and execute project schedules and milestones.
• Monitor project progress, budgets, and financial performance.
• Identify project risks and implement recovery plans.
• Review and interpret project contracts including terms and conditions.
• Lead punch-list completion and project closeout activities.
• Coordinate startup and commissioning activities to meet milestones.
• Coordinate daily with branch offices to assess manpower and allocate field resources.
• Monitor and resolve startup and commissioning issues to ensure timely completion.
• Manage warranty programs and monitor warranty issues through final resolution.
