Job summary

Our client in New Jersey seeks an experienced MEP Superintendent to oversee on-site construction activities and ensure adherence to project plans. The role requires strong MEP knowledge and the ability to work effectively in a team environment.

Responsibilities include coordinating with the client and Construction Coordinator to schedule tasks, monitoring progress against plans and budgets, and ensuring high-quality outcomes. Knowledge of reading plans and duct installation is essential.

Qualifications

• Extensive MEP knowledge.
• Project management training and/or aptitude.
• Experience with Microsoft Office including Excel, Word, Exchange.

Responsibilities

• Schedule construction tasks with client and Construction Coordinator, identifying durations and manpower.
• Ensure work aligns with project specifications, timelines, and budgets.
• Meet contractual commitments and uphold quality standards for the department.
• Complete jobs at or below budget and on or before scheduled date.
• Read plans and understand heat pumps, air conditioning piping, layout and duct installation.

Our client, a leading Mechanical and Construction company in New Jersey is looking for an MEP Superintendent to join their team. The ideal candidate should have MEP experience as well as be a self-motivated individual who is able to work well in a team.

Responsibilities:

• Work with the client and Construction Coordinator to schedule each construction task identifying durations and manpower levels.
• Ensures observance of the project specifications and carries out the work in accordance with planned time and costs.
• Assure contractual commitments to customers are met and the department achieves the highest standards of quality.
• Assure job is completed at or below budget as well as at or before scheduled completion date.
• Knowledge of reading plans, heat pumps, air conditioning basic pipe fitting, lay out and duct installation
