Job summary

CMTA is seeking an experienced MEP Project Manager for our New York City and New Jersey offices. You will lead 4–5 concurrent projects, manage drawings, and serve as the main client liaison throughout the project lifecycle.

Ideal candidates bring a strong general contracting background, Procore proficiency, and 4–7 years of construction PM experience, including union and non-union subcontractor management. Some travel may be required.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Construction Management, Engineering, Architecture, or a related field.
• 4–7 years of construction experience.
• 1–2 years of construction Project Management experience.
• Experience managing union and non-union subcontractors.
• Proficiency in Procore.
• Working knowledge of MS Project and the MS Office Suite.
• Experience working on cross-functional teams across multiple offices.

Responsibilities

• Lead 4–5 concurrent projects of varying size and scope.
• Review and maintain command of all project drawings and specification books.
• Serve as primary point of contact for client representatives throughout the project lifecycle.
• Attend internal kickoff meetings with Estimating to ensure clean handoff and review subcontractor scopes and contract stipulations.
• Partner with the Project Superintendent to manage project setup in Procore (submittals, directory, schedule, RFI log, permits, safety documents).
• Lead weekly client and subcontractor meetings; establish agendas and document minutes.
