Job summary

CMTA, Inc. seeks an experienced MEP Project Manager for our New York City and New Jersey offices.

You will lead 4–5 concurrent projects, manage project drawings and specs, and serve as the primary client contact throughout the lifecycle, coordinating with Estimating for kickoffs and handoffs. The role requires 1–2 years in PM with a strong general contracting background, the ability to manage union and non-union teams, and proficiency in Procore, MS Project, and MS Office.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Construction Management, Engineering, Architecture, or related field.
• 4–7 years of construction experience.
• 1–2 years of construction Project Management experience.
• Experience managing union and non-union subcontractors.
• Proficiency in Procore.
• Working knowledge of MS Project and the MS Office Suite.
• Experience working on cross-functional teams across multiple offices.

Responsibilities

• Lead 4–5 concurrent projects of varying size and scope.
• Review and maintain command of all project drawings and specification books.
• Serve as primary point of contact for client representatives throughout the project lifecycle.
• Attend internal kickoff meetings with Estimating to ensure clean handoff and review subcontractor scopes, client allowances, proposal notes and clarifications, and contract stipulations.
