Job summary

CMTA, Inc. seeks an experienced MEP Project Manager for our New York City and New Jersey offices. You will lead multiple concurrent projects, maintain control of drawings and specs, and act as the primary client contact through the project lifecycle.

The role requires a strong general contracting background, mentorship to grow into MEP PM, and experience managing union and non-union work across a diverse client list including NBC Universal, Disney, NBA, NBC Sports, and A+E Networks.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Construction Management, Engineering, Architecture, or a related field.
• 4-7 years of construction experience.
• 1-2 years of construction Project Management experience.
• Experience managing union and non-union subcontractors.
• Proficiency in Procore.
• Working knowledge of MS Project and the MS Office Suite.

Responsibilities

• Lead 4–5 concurrent projects of varying size and scope.
• Review and maintain command of all project drawings and specifications.
• Serve as primary point of contact for client representatives throughout the project lifecycle.
• Attend internal kickoff meetings with Estimating to ensure clean handoff and review of subcontractor scopes, client allowances, proposal notes, clarifications, and contract stipulations.
