Job summary

The Green Recruitment Company is seeking an experienced Project Manager to lead mission critical construction projects from preconstruction through closeout. You will own schedules, budgets, and client communications, collaborating with Superintendents and field leadership to ensure on-time, on-budget delivery in zero-downtime environments.

This role requires 4–7 years in construction, including 2+ years on mission critical projects, and a strong understanding of MEP systems and field execution.

Qualifications

• 4-year degree in Engineering, Construction Management, or related field.
• 4-7 years of construction experience, including 2+ years on mission critical projects.
• Strong understanding of construction means, methods, and field execution.

Responsibilities

A leading national general contractor is looking to add an experienced Project Manager to their growing Mission Critical team.

This is an opportunity to take ownership of $100M-$800M mission critical construction projects, working closely with Superintendents, project leadership, and clients from preconstruction through closeout.

You’ll play a key role in delivering projects within demanding 24/7, zero-downtime environments, with responsibility for schedules, budgets, risk, client relationships, and overall project execution.

The Role

• Lead large-scale mission critical construction projects from preconstruction through closeout
• Own project schedules, budgets, financial performance, and client communication
• Work side-by-side with Superintendents and field leadership to drive execution
• Lead cross-functional teams across complex construction environments
• Manage risk, change control, QA/QC, and turnover
• Utilize modern construction technology and data to support project decisions
• Interface directly with clients operating in critical, zero-downtime facilities

What We're Looking For

• 4-year degree in Engineering, Construction Management, or related field
• 4-7 years of construction experience, including 2+ years on mission critical projects
• Strong understanding of construction means, methods, and field execution
• Working knowledge of MEP systems and integrated building systems
• Proven experience managing schedules, budgets, and project financials
• Strong leadership, communication, and client management skills

Preferred Experience

• Data center commissioning experience, including Levels 1-5
• Experience working within operational facilities and strict change-control environments
• Strong QA/QC, documentation, and turnover experience
