This role works closely with project leadership, subcontractors, vendors, and commissioning teams to ensure all MEP systems are installed, tested, and brought online safely, efficiently, and in alignment with project milestones.

Key Responsibilities

  • Track equipment fabrication, shipping, and delivery schedules to minimize project risk.
  • Review and coordinate technical submittals, shop drawings, and equipment documentation.
  • Lead coordination meetings focused on critical MEP milestones, startup planning, and commissioning readiness.
  • Develop and implement procedures for planned outages, energizations, and other high-risk activities within operational or mission critical environments.
  • Collaborate with design consultants, trade partners, and project stakeholders to resolve technical issues and field conflicts.
  • Drive quality assurance and quality control processes for all MEP installations.
  • Manage system startup, functional testing, and pre-commissioning activities.
  • Coordinate with third-party commissioning providers to support integrated systems testing and project turnover.
  • Maintain and organize commissioning records, test reports, and closeout documentation.
  • Foster strong working relationships with project stakeholders while maintaining a solutions-oriented approach to project execution.
Qualifications
  • Bachelor's degree in Construction Management, Engineering, Business, or a related discipline preferred.
  • Equivalent industry experience may be considered in place of a degree.
  • Minimum of 4 years of experience managing mechanical or electrical systems construction.
  • At least 3 years of experience within mission critical, data center, healthcare, industrial, or other technically complex facilities.
