Job summary

Mortenson is seeking an experienced Assistant MEP Project Manager to support the Mechanical, Electrical, and Plumbing scopes from bid through client acceptance.

You will lead, coach, and mentor project team members while coordinating with staff at all levels in a dynamic environment. Strong communication and confidentiality are essential as you manage cost controls, subcontracts, and project closeout.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Construction, Civil, or Architectural, Mechanical, and/or Electrical Engineering or equivalent experience.
• Detail oriented with strong organizational skills to manage multiple tasks.
• Proven customer service orientation and professional attitude.

Responsibilities

• Perform cost control and financial management.
• Work with Preconstruction on project estimate and schedule.
• Coordinate scopes of work and review financial documentation.
• Partner with Project Manager or Construction Executive.
• Draft client proposals and manage subcontractors.

Education

Bachelor’s degree in Construction, Civil, Architectural, Mechanical, and/or Electrical Engineering or equivalent experience
