Job summary

Jobot is seeking a Project Engineer to support complex mechanical and commercial construction projects from preconstruction to completion. The role focuses on reading mechanical and plumbing plans, handling change orders, RFIs, submittals, and coordinating materials to ensure efficient project execution.

The ideal candidate will have a Bachelor's degree in Engineering and at least 3 years of experience, with strong communication and organizational skills.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering or related field.
• Minimum 3 years' experience in a similar engineering role.
• Ability to read mechanical and plumbing plans.
• Experience managing change orders, RFIs, and submittals.
• Experience coordinating and ordering materials.

Responsibilities

• Review, interpret, and apply mechanical and plumbing plans to ongoing projects.
• Manage and execute change orders, RFIs, and submittals in a timely and efficient manner.
• Coordinate and order materials required for projects, ensuring timely delivery and cost-effectiveness.
• Collaborate closely with project managers, engineers, and stakeholders to meet objectives.
• Troubleshoot and resolve project-related issues and challenges.
• Maintain and update project documentation, ensuring compliance with standards and regulations.
• Contribute to continuous improvement initiatives to enhance project delivery and team efficiency.
