Job summary

Jobot is seeking an experienced Project Engineer in the United States to support MEPT and building systems projects. You will review and apply mechanical and plumbing plans, manage change orders and RFIs, and coordinate material orders to ensure on-time delivery and cost efficiency.

You will work with project managers and engineers, troubleshoot issues, and maintain project documentation in line with company standards. This role offers growth within a thriving engineering firm.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering or related field required.
• Minimum 3 years in a similar engineering role.
• Experience reading mechanical and plumbing plans.
• Proven ability to manage change orders, RFIs, and submittals.
• Experience coordinating and ordering materials for projects.
• Excellent problem-solving and attention to detail.
• Strong organizational and project management skills.
• Excellent communication and teamwork abilities.
• Proficiency in relevant software tools and technology.
• Commitment to staying updated on industry trends.

Responsibilities

• Review, interpret, and apply mechanical and plumbing plans to ongoing projects.
• Manage and execute change orders, RFIs, and submittals.
• Coordinate and order materials required for projects, ensuring timely delivery and cost-effectiveness.
• Collaborate with project managers, engineers, and stakeholders to meet objectives.
• Troubleshoot and resolve project-related issues.
• Maintain and update project documentation to comply with standards and regulations.
