Job summary

Dewberry’s Raleigh, NC office seeks a Project Manager/Client Manager for its MEP Building Services group to lead design and client relations from concept through construction administration. Based on knowledge of the Charlotte regional market, the role focuses on acquiring new projects and maintaining client relationships to win repeat work.

You will work with a multi-disciplined team to deliver first-rate engineering documents.

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in Electrical or Mechanical Engineering or equivalent experience.
Accomplished Professional Engineer (PE) with 8+ years of experience preferred.
Knowledgeable of construction process and AIA contracts.
Self-motivated with strong verbal, written and interpersonal skills.
Well organized with understanding of codes, standards, and client needs.

Responsibilities

Organize and direct frequent in-house design meetings.
Primary responsibility for design and construction document oversight as Engineer/Record.
Coordinate with design managers to schedule and assign personnel.
Prepare project timelines and maintain the design folder.
Assist in client relations to achieve project goals and maintain client for life.
Support with recruitment and evaluating new employees for MEP building services.
