Job summary

Dewberry in Raleigh, NC is seeking an Entry Level Electrical Engineer to join our MEPS team. You will perform electrical design, BIM in Revit MEP, CAD drafting in AutoCAD, and prepare construction documents for building systems.

Ideal candidates have a BS in Architectural or Electrical Engineering, 0-2 years of experience, and are willing to develop in power distribution, lighting, and life safety. PE is a plus; role may require coordination with trades.

Qualifications

• BS in Architectural Engineering or Electrical Engineering from an ABET‑accredited university.
• 0–2 years of technical design experience for power distribution, lighting, life safety, and telecom systems.
• PE preferred.
• Experience designing electrical systems in Revit MEP and AutoCAD.
• Strong verbal, written, and interpersonal skills.
• Well-organized and able to take notes.

Responsibilities

• Design and produce construction documents for building systems.
• Assist with power distribution, emergency generation, lighting, and fire alarm design.
• Coordinate with trades, architects, and clients.
• Review MEP designs for code compliance.
