MacDonald-Miller Facility Solutions in Seattle seeks a Buyer to procure commodities, materials, equipment, and services for project needs. You will balance price, quality, availability, delivery, and internal partner requirements.

You’ll build strong supplier relationships, communicate expectations clearly, and own purchasing from request to delivery. Direct construction or MEP experience is valued, with knowledge of Great Plains or Power BI a plus.

Qualifications

• 3–5+ years of purchasing, procurement, or supply chain experience.
• Strong knowledge of the MEP industry preferred.
• Ability to build relationships with internal teams and suppliers.
• Effective communication, organizational, analytical, and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to take ownership and work independently.

Responsabilités

• Collaborate with internal teams and suppliers to ensure materials are available when needed.
• Develop understanding of MEP equipment, parts, materials, and specialties.
• Establish productive relationships with suppliers and negotiate pricing.
• Execute purchasing goals and maintain accurate purchasing information.
• Identify opportunities to improve processes and reduce costs.
