Moss is seeking a full-time, exempt PRECONSTRUCTION MEP SPECIALIST in ALLEN, TX. You will interface with the Project Preconstruction Chief to complete comprehensive budgets and GMP for MEP trades and lead design-build efforts from concept through final contract award.

Ideal candidates have a BS degree in a related field and at least four years of preconstruction experience, with strong takeoff, cost-savings, and RFI skills.

Qualifications

• BS degree in a related field is required.
• Minimum four years of experience in Preconstruction.
• Ability to self-manage with minimal direction.
• Knowledge of pricing by trade and unit costs.
• Ability to interpret plans and specs with constructability focus.

Responsabilités

• Manage multiple projects with estimating responsibilities and deadlines.
• Lead design-build projects from concept to final contract award.
• Perform quantity surveys and takeoffs using On Screen Take Off/Bluebeam.
• Develop bid tabs and cost quotes for multiple trades.
• Prepare RFIs and ensure submittals are complete with Architects/Engineers.
• Present cost variances and mitigation options to Owners and A/E team.
