Job summary

Lone Star College is seeking a Manager of Mechanical, Electrical, and Plumbing (MEP) to direct property services with responsibility for complex MEP systems across campus facilities. This role handles budgeting, resource allocation, and compliance with all relevant codes and regulations.

The position collaborates with directors and planning teams on R&R and capital projects, driving process improvements and SOPs, while leading the maintenance team and coordinating with architects, engineers,

Qualifications

• Advanced knowledge of HVAC, electrical, plumbing, refrigeration, and pneumatic controls.
• Strong understanding of BAS and CMMS platforms for maintenance and reporting.
• Regulatory coding knowledge (OSHA, NFPA, NEC, ADA).

Responsibilities

• Directs campus MEP functions and budget planning.
• Develops preventive and predictive maintenance programs for MEP systems.
• Ensure compliance with local, state, and federal codes and regulations.
