Job summary

Gray Construction is seeking an Assistant Site Manager, MEP to support field operations on multiple projects across the United States. The role involves coordinating with the MEP Project Manager, reviewing drawings, preparing schedules, and assisting in procurement and subcontractor management.

Travel to project sites will be required, and candidates should have an associate degree or equivalent and at least five years related experience.

Qualifications

Associate's degree or equivalent from two-year College or technical school; and a minimum five years related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
Must possess basic computer skills including word processing, spreadsheet and e-mail applications.
Visa Sponsorship: This role is not eligible for visa sponsorship.
This position requires travel as our projects are scattered throughout the United States.

Responsibilities

Assist MEP Project Manager in locating and evaluating potential subcontractors, vendors, and suppliers.
Assist in developing scopes of work for review and approval of MEP Project/Site Manager.
Assist in the development of MEP project schedule within the entire construction schedule.
Prepare estimates in areas of MEP self-performed work, and assist in complete project estimate.
Coordinate and manage on-site construction activities from pre-start-up to completion.
Serve as on-site Safety Officer when not assigned to another project and participate in the QMS safety program.
