Job summary

Performance Services in Indianapolis, IN is seeking an MEP Estimator to accurately calculate project MEP costs from concept through completed construction documents. You will prepare budgets for Mechanical, Plumbing, Fire Protection, Electrical, Technology, and LV systems.

The role emphasizes constructability analyses, value engineering, cost control, and vendor/subcontractor pricing, requiring strong communication and proficiency with estimating software and MS Office.

Qualifications

• Minimum of five years related MEP estimating experience or an equivalent combination of education, training and/or experience.
• Experience using electronic takeoff and estimating software.
• Proven written and verbal communication abilities; proficiency with Microsoft Office.
• Ability to read, understand and interpret contract documents, drawings, specifications, scopes of work and project schedule.

Responsibilities

• Work with the team to provide constructability analyses, value engineering, cost control, scope reviews, etc.
• Develop and maintain relationships with local material suppliers and equipment vendors for current pricing.
• Develop and maintain relationships with local MEP subcontractors to verify market conditions and labor costs.
• Develop and maintain current subcontractor and material costs within our estimating software.
