Job summary

EMCOR Government Services in Washington, DC is seeking a talented MEP Estimator/Project Coordinator to support our DOT headquarters contract. This role requires technical, organizational, supervisory, and communications skills across mechanical, electrical, plumbing systems.

You will read drawings, prepare estimates with RS Means or similar software, develop economical system options, and coordinate bids, submittals, and client presentations.

Qualifications

• Minimum four years of MEP planning and estimating experience on complex facilities.
• Minimum four years of project management experience or equivalent.
• Degree in engineering or PM field highly desired or equivalent experience.
• Experience with RS Means or similar estimating software.

Responsibilities

• Prepare scope of work and detailed cost estimates for construction or repair projects.
• Develop economical system options and prepare bid packages for client approval.
• Solicit bids, conduct site walks, and present estimates to leadership and client.
• Read and interpret as-builts, drawings, and submittals.
• Coordinate submittals, RFI's, and government meetings.
