The Estimator is responsible for estimating the material, labor, and subcontractor costs for the installation of Projects ranging from $0 to $1,000,000+ in costs; and working with company leadership on the final pricing.
A successful Estimator will maintain the target PROJECT BACKLOG VALUE while maintaining a high degree of ESTIMATING ACCURACY as measured by actual costs compared to estimated costs and achieving the assigned PROJECT SALES REVENUE GOAL by knowing market conditions. This position will report the Operations Manager
Position Overview
The MEP Estimator is responsible for independently preparing mechanical, HVAC, and/or plumbing estimates, technical proposals, cost models, and risk analyses for complex institutional and mission-critical projects.
Candidates must have 3-5 years of experience in the MEP disciplines (Mechanical, HVAC, or Plumbing). Experience does not need to be exclusively mechanical—strong plumbing or HVAC estimating experience is equally valuable.
