Job summary

EMCOR Government Services seeks an experienced MEP Estimator/Project Coordinator to support its DOT Headquarters contract in Washington, D.C. The role requires planning, estimating, and coordinating mechanical, electrical, and plumbing systems across complex facilities.

Responsibilities include developing bid packages, reading drawings, managing subcontractors, and presenting estimates to senior leadership while ensuring quality and on-time delivery.

Qualifications

• Must have 4+ years in MEP planning and estimating for large facilities.
• Proficiency with RS Means or equivalent cost estimating software.
• Excellent communication and ability to interact with multiple levels of the organization.

Responsibilities

• Prepare scope of work and detailed cost estimates for construction or repair projects.
• Read and interpret as-built drawings, plans, and submittals.
• Direct subcontractors and track project progress for DOT facilities.
• Prepare proposals and present estimates to management and client representatives.
• Maintain asset information in Maximo and coordinate with procurement.
